Miky Wajnerman is a cinematographer, born in Córdoba, Argentina (1988), currently living and working in Tel Aviv. He is a graduate of the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem, which he completed with highest distinction, winning the Cinematography Award for his graduating year (2019).
His work spans narrative and documentary cinema, television series, and music videos. His credits include feature-length documentaries, short films that have screened at festivals around the world, and music videos for leading Israeli indie artists. Alongside his work as a director of photography, he has also worked as a second-unit cinematographer and camera operator on some of the most prominent projects produced in Israel in recent years, including ״Bad Boy״ ( NETFLIX ), "YES" by Nadav Lapid, "Six Zeros" (yes TV), "Another Story" by Avi Nesher, as well as children’s and youth television series.
His work is grounded in deep cinematic sensitivity, aiming to decode the director’s vision and translate it into a precise visual language unique to each project. His style is characterized by strong formal discipline, with a conscious approach to color, color palettes, light, and shadow. His cinematic worldview does not seek “beauty” for its own sake, but rather the right image, one that serves the story and the characters, and evokes emotion.
